Seventeen of Lynne's paintings were on exhibit for the "Scapes" show. She was the featured artist in the Vulcan Gallery for July 2012 at the Lorton Workhouse Arts Center.  
  Twelve of Lynne's pieces of artwork were on exhibit in the "Creative Visions" show at Towne Pavilion Center I, Virginia Beach.

Three of Lynne's pastel pieces were on display for the First Annual Pastel Society of Virginia's "Goodwin House Exhibit" in March 2011 and four of her artworks were there for the Second Annual Pastel Society of Virginia's Show in March 2012. Lynne presented a special slideshow and artist talk in 2011.  
  At the Prince William Public Library Foundation Gala "A Carnival in Venice", New York Times best selling author Adriana Trigiani captivated Lynne with her humorous and witty anecdotes. Lynne is honored that Ms. Trigiani was enthralled with Lynne's painting "Power of Hope" and purchased it. Additionally, a giclée print of this stunning piece is one of three of Lynne's artworks chosen for the permanent collection of healing art at Inova Mount Vernon Hospital.

Significant Strokes

In June of 2012, Lynne received an Equal Merit Award for "On Top of the World".

Lynne also received an Honorable Mention Award for "On Top of the World" at the Annual Fall Arts Show at Greenspring Gardens. Juror: Lisa Semerad.

In February of 2011, Lynne became a founding artist of the Pastel Society of Virginia.

Lynne became a founding artist with the Lorton Workhouse Arts Center in February 2009.

In the Fall of 2007, Lynne was the •Invited Presenter• for one of her unique lampworked and fine stone necklaces to the "Biggest Spender" at the 1st Annual Art Auction for the Prince William Library Foundation.

Lynne was one of the photographers for the Biennial Conference of the National League of American Pen Women. Her photograph of Dr. Bernice Reid, past President of the National League of American Pen Women, was published in the inside cover of The Pen Women Magazine in June 2008.

Lynne was inducted into the National League of American Pen Women in April 2008.

Two of Lynne's nature photographs were juried into the River Farm Art Show by Trudi Van Dyke, independent curator and fine arts consultant. Lynne's photograph "Cascading Leaves" was awarded 3rd place.

All three of Lynne's works "Delicate Iris" (Photograph), "Power of Hope" (Giclée Print), and "Shy Kitty" (Giclée Print) were juried into the first show to build the permanent collection of Healing Art at Inova Mount Vernon Hospital in March 2005.
